Lively Running Review

Write for us

We welcome pitches that reveal an overlooked part of running culture: a useful comparison, a clear explanation, a piece of history or a close look at a route, object or ritual. Send proposals through the Contact page.

What makes a strong pitch

Bring one distinct question and a clear reason it will interest readers beyond a passing trend. A good proposal names its central idea, the details it will examine, the likely shape of the piece and any sources or expertise it depends on. Keep the scope manageable and the language direct.

The kind of work we consider

We are interested in evergreen explanatory writing, considered comparisons, cultural and historical context, and practical pieces that do not require readers to rely on professional advice. We do not seek unsupported claims, disguised promotion or copy built around a product placement.

How to propose

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short outline and a little context about your approach. A proposal is not a promise of publication; please do not send a complete article unless requested.
